2014 marks the 10th anniversary for The Hold Steady, and to help celebrate, its rearing for a comeback. Today (Jan. 8), the Brooklyn alt-rock band announced its sixth studio album and a celebratory tour to kick off later this month.

The Hold Steady are leading Washington Square an imprint of Razor & Tie, being among the first acts signed to the new label. The band has signed for a multi-record deal, the first of which will be released this year. Teeth Dreams, the long-anticipated follow up to 2010's Heaven is Whenever will drop on March 24.

"We're excited for this new chapter," said Hold Steady's frontman Craig Finn in a press release. "We're really proud of our new record," said guitarist Tad Kubler. "This is an exciting time for us. Making the new record has been a journey for the band, and the results exceeded even our own expectations. Can't wait for people to hear it."

To help kick off the new album and celebrate 10 years together, The Hold Steady will also be hitting the road beginning on Jan. 29. The band will travel throughout the Midwest.
