Hold on to your seats with this one, because The Prodigy's sixth artist album The Day Is My Enemy is now available to stream for free on iTunes. The pioneering electronic band has been on the warpath over the past few months preparing for the release of the new LP by releasing several singles, and the time has come for the LP to be released in just under a week's time, ahead of its March 30 release date.

The 14-track LP contains the hard-hitting, distorted guitar riffs, bombastic drums and angry, anti-establishment vocals that the group has been known for.

As to be expected, The Day Is My Enemy is largely devoid of features, but the band did invite two others into their writing process for the album: Sleaford Mods on "Ibiza" and Flux Pavillion on "Rhythm Bomb."

"I can't tell you why this record came out so angry, I think it's just in-built in me," says Liam Howlett in a statement about the album. "It's more about what I like music to do. I've always seen music I like as a form of attack. That's what I use music for, it's an attack. I didn't plan this album to sound violent, it's just the sound that came out of the studio, a kind of build-up over the last four years. 'Anger is an energy,' that's a lyric which always resonated with me. The tension is buried deep in the music right from the first drop. It's all about the sound having that sense of danger. That's what The Prodigy sound is about."

Several singles have already been released from the album. The trio have shared the title track "The Day Is My Enemy," "Nasty," "Wild Frontier" and "Wall of Death" with some interesting visuals to go along with them. Stream the album on iTunes here and, if you like it, pre-order the album while you are there.
