Skrillex has announced that he is bringing the Full Flex Train tour back to Canada this summer. The tour began in 2012 as an ode to the 1970s Festival Express tour undertaken by Janis Joplin, the Grateful Dead and the Band who traveled by train across Canada playing shows for massive audiences. After a two-year hiatus, the tour is back and it is expanding from six dates to eight going all the way from Ottawa to the other side of Canada -- Pemberton, British Columbia.

After a successful 2012 tour which hit Montréal, Ottawa, Edmonton, Vancouver, Winnipeg and Toronto with an all-star cast of artists that included Diplo, Grimes, Pretty Lights, KOAN Sound, Tokimonsta and Skrillex himself, the tour had to cancel in 2013 due to logistical issues.

According to a statement via Rolling Stone, "During the past four months we lost the train we had booked, found a new one, and then realized the cost associated with using it would put us at a huge, huge loss," wrote Skrillex.

Barring any major problems, we should see the tour continue on as planned in Canada. The lineup has not been announced as of yet, but expect there to be some pretty big names and acts who are a part of the OWSLA stable or those who Skrillex has expressed interest in over the past 12 months.
