Young Thug has decided to actually move forward with his forthcoming Tha Carter 6 album and he just released two new songs, titled "Beat It" and "Halftime," from the project.

According to Vibe, both tracks were produced by London On Tha Track, with Thug taking on much of Lil Wayne's rap persona.

Jeremih offers up a verse on "Beat It" and Thug clear up those rumors about his sexuality on "Halftime" as he raps, "I'm not gay, I f*ck b*tches on b*tches."

Listeners first began to question the Rich Gang rapper's sexual preference after he was caught using feminine lingo when referencing men on social media.

Frequent collaborator Rich Homie Quan denounced the rumors back in September saying it's just talk.

"Sometimes the social network can misconstrue things," he explained. "We have our own slang and we talk our certain way. But anyone who knows me, as well as anyone who knows him, certain stuff should never cross your mind. But at the same time, that's your opinion to say what you want to say."

Young Thug also caused quite a stir when he announced he would continue Lil Wayne's legacy upon his retirement, naming his debut album Tha Carter 6.

The announcement didn't sit too well, namely with Wayne's daughter Reginae Carter, who expressed her dismay on Twitter last week.

"Is he trying to be funny with this Carter6 [poop emoji]? Cause it's pretty childish to me! #myopinion," she wroteadding, "Try again if you're even trying to get on my fathers level. Listen I usually stay in a child's place but that's my father and I'll stick up for him no matter what! It was not to be disrespectful. But you know what. I don't have to explain myself! I don't regret anything and I'll repeat myself if I have to. Behind all the cameras and media, there's a real family with feelings. YOU CANT SIT WITH US!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Thug seems to be unbothered by Reginae's opposition. Take a listen to "Beat It" and "Halftime" after the jump and let us know your thoughts in the comment section.
