Ed Sheeran is getting ready for a big 2014. The "A Team" singer/songwriter has announced that he will be hitting in the road in the UK this fall, following his second studio album.

According to his official Twitter account, Sheeran will play a string of stadium dates in his homeland from Oct. 6 to 30, including two back-to-back shows at London's famed O2 Arena.

Though that's quite exciting for fans in the UK, American Sheeran lovers are left hanging. Sheeran's series of tweets also included messages from his longtime manager Stuart Camp, who stated that more dates in other countries will follow but not for some time. Responding to fan @valerie_517, Camp claimed that there will be no announcement regarding the US for "a while."

However, that doesn't mean that American fans don't have some Sheeran-related stuff to look forward to this year: he's also planning on a new album.

Alongside tour announcements, Camp tweeted that Sheeran wouldn't start touring in the UK until his follow-up to his 2011 debut + has been released. For those keeping count, that means he'll be releasing a new album before October.

In the meanwhile, check out Sheeran's UK tour dates below. For those willing to make the trek to Britain, tickets go on sale tomorrow (Jan. 10).
