After a busy Miami Music Week for Kaskade, which included a Redux gig at the Grand Central Saturday, March 28, it appears the "Atmosphere" DJ is reuniting with his longtime friend and past collaborator deadmau5 on a possible new track. A fan posed the question to deadmau5 -- real name Joel Zimmerman -- on Twitter, a medium he is active on, if there would be another collaboration between the "Strobe" producer and Kaskade. This new track would be the third track between the pair and the first since their iconic 2009 single "I Remember," which followed up the Strobelight Seduction single "Move for Me." Read the Twitter exchange below.

Judging by the language, it appears that something has already been started, but in the electronic music world collaborations are started all the time and sometimes take years to complete or are never finished at all. Refresh your memory with "I Remember" to see what a collab from the two of them could sound like. They have changed since 2009, obviously, but with these two talents coming together something great should come of it.

This does not mean something is guaranteed to be on the way, but it is a sign that something could be brewing. Deadmau5 started a much-hyped collaboration with Armin van Buuren over Twitter, where their communication was done over social media and they sent parts back and forth for the public to see publically. Eventually, communication died down and they eventually had a "falling out" last summer.
