Ed Sheeran's sophomore album x is almost one year old, but he's still continuing heavy promotion of the album by announcing a new tour. Today (March 31), the "Thinking Out Loud" singer unveiled 14 new live shows for this September.

Sheeran's new tour dates are tagged onto the end of his already extensive x North American tour, which is set to kick off on May 3 in Memphis, Tennessee. The added tour dates take Sheeran through the end of September, beginning on Sept. 3 in Houston.

The singer-songwriter will then travel through Atlanta, Nashville, Chicago, Toronto and more before he wraps up the tour on Sept. 23 during a second night in Washington, D.C.

Sheeran's tour is in support of his Grammy-nominated album x, which was released in June 2014. The album has been led by singles "Sing," "Don't," "Thinking Out Loud" and "Bloodstream."
