Less than a week after Maybach Music boss Rick Ross announced that he was listening to the final, Diddy-mixed version of his sixth studio album Mastermind, the LP has received a release date. The new album will be released on March 4.

Ross once again teamed up with Diddy to make the announcement over at Revolt TV, with the help of critically acclaimed music video director Hype Williams.

"The untouchable Maybach Empire presents... Rick Ross... Mastermind March 4th," the video reads over images of exploded bombs, stacks of $100 bills and clouds, as a Gregorian-esque chant plays in the background.

As the teaser trailer dropped, Ross confirmed the new release date on Twitter.

The March 4 Mastermind release date follows a series of delays for Ross' new album. Ross first announced the title of Mastermind in January 2013, and teased the record with lead single "No Games" back in September. Originally due out Dec. 17, Ross pushed the album release back date with no real timeline until now.

A tracklist and album cover have yet to be revealed for Mastermind, though confirmed tracks include "No Games," second single "The Devil Is A Lie" (feat. Jay Z) and "Box Chevy."

Mastermind will be Ross' first studio album since 2012's epic God Forgives, I Don't.
