Throughout his current residency with BBC Radio 1, Flying Lotus has not only gifted listeners with new music, including songs from Joey Bada$ and Thundercat, and old gems, such as Herbie Hancock classics, but he's also provided some interesting exchanges with other artists. Following interviews with Radiohead guitarist Jonny Greenwood and Hancock, FlyLo will be sitting down for a conversation with his frequent collaborator Kendrick Lamar, the DJ/producer revealed on Instagram this morning.

FlyLo has already shed light on his involvement with Lamar's To Pimp A Butterfly and his chemistry with the Compton rapper as well as his creative process. Last month, he took to Twitter to reveal that he produced TPAB's opening track "Wesley's Theory," as well as an alternative version of "For Sale," which he said "will probably never come out."

"Was helping out with @kendricklamar live visual show when he did the yeezus tour," he wrote in a series of tweets. "I played him a folder of beats that I was keeping close for my next @xCaptainMurphyx project. Gave him all the beats like fuxk it. Later that night he told me he had the concept for the album. He gets no credit for being a producer but he had a vision for this album. Dude gets involved w the whole process. When I played him that beat he asked me who I imagined on it. I laughed and said @george_clinton. I never thought it would actually happen."

The interview will broadcast on BBC Radio 1 from 5 p.m. EST to 7 p.m. EST. No news yet on what we can expect them to talk about, but the report between the two of them should yield an interesting conversation.
