As he promised, Lil Wayne released the music video for his Sorry for the Wait 2 mixtape song "Hollyweezy" right at 4:20 p.m. EST. Lil Wayne premiered the video earlier on Weedmaps.com, which can be best described as a Google maps for weed dispensaries and other marijuana services. This is obviously appropriate for today, 4/20, the weed smoker's holiday and your map will vary depending on where you live.

The announcement was made over the weekend about the music video's timely release today.

Directed by Eif Rivera, the visuals are simple and to the point with Weezy spending the majority of his time on or next to a red muscle car, while rapping the verses from this solo cut on his recent mixtape. The background paints a dark and ominous picture with storm clouds brewing and eventually opening up into a full-fledged lighting storm.

Much like the rough neighborhood of New Orleans that Lil Wayne grew up in, Hollygrove, Weezy Rivera uses the storm clouds to paint a dark picture on the life of Tunechi then and now. Watch the video below from Weezy's YouTube.

Fans first got a glimpse at the video when a short clip was leaked onto the internet of Lil Wayne filming the video, which showed the New Orleans rapper working in front of the dark screen. Now we have the final product.

The video will satiate Lil Wayne fans for a time that are eagerly waiting his upcoming Free Weezy Album. It was originally scheduled for release in April, but that is looking increasingly less likely with each passing day and no news of any new singles or a new release date.

In meanwhile, Lil Wayne continues to bash Young Thug on the road and get drawn into lawsuits.
