Impatient fans have been on edge waiting for the first official teaser trailer for the fourth installment of the Jurassic Park franchise, Jurassic World--and now it's finally here, complete with CGI dinosaurs and terrified vacationers.

Taking a small stride away from the familiar plot of cat and mouse between dinosaurs and humans, Jurassic World takes a 22-year jump from the first film, involving a dinosaur theme park filled with sea beasts and winged dinos. The park is operated by Masrani Global Corporation on Isla Nublar, a Central American island, notes Rolling Stone.

In an attempt to gain a supreme turnout, the company begins to genetically modify their dinosaurs, leading to catastrophic aftermaths. A dangerously clever "Indominus Rex" begins annihilating anyone and anything that crosses its path as flying beasts swoop down to scoop up frightened park visitors.

Guardians of the Galaxy actor Chris Pratt stars as Owen Grady, the dinosaur whisperer who explains that one dino in particular is "killing for sport." As a velociraptor trainer struggling to stand up to company greediness, he must also escape the abysmal fate of becoming dinner for any wandering, angry creature with the slightest appetite.

"These animals are thinkin', 'I gotta eat, I gotta hunt," uttered Owen, dinosaur behavioral researcher.

The film has been crafted by director Colin Trevorrow and co-written with Rick Jaffa, Amanda Silver and Rick Connolly, reports Deadline. The original 1993 epic film was produced by Steven Spielberg, who will also be in charge of Jurassic World production.

The eagerly awaited film will make its way to theaters 14 years after Jurassic Park III on June 12.
