In anticipation for the release of his debut album, King Los released a new song "War" ahead of God Money War, featuring Marsha Ambrosius.

According to 2DopeBoyz, "War" was produced by Anomaly and DA Internz and released through RCA Records. King Los kicks off the track by saying, "It's a war going on."

Ambrosius, former member of Floetry, adds her sultry vocals to the track. In an interview with Hiphopdx last year, Ambrosius explained what it was like to grow up in London and being inspired by hip-hop music.

"I remember seeing the Rock Steady Crew, and I'm watching Crazy Legs, I'm watching them pop-lock and I'm like, 'This is what I want to do with my life.' Ambrosius told Hiphopdx. "I was obsessed with anything American after witnessing that. I was like, 'I need a Kangol, I need a pair of Adidas, and I need a gold rope chain...'

Ambrosius also shared that when she was a child, she wanted to be from New York. Nicknamed, "Miss Brooklyn," she admired the New York hip hop culture and it further piqued her interest in exploring the genre of music.

King Los built the excitement for his new song on his Instagram account today. His two most recent posts advertised his new song with Ambrosius. His first post shared a screenshot of the song on iTunes with, "God told me this movie would write itsself."

His second post was a short video of himself rapping to "War" in a studio. The video ends with the title of his album, God Money War with "Coming Soon" listed towards the bottom.
