Tomorrowland Brasil has announced the details for its YouTube livestream coming up in just over one week. The Brazilian offshoot of famed electronic music festival, Tomorrowland, is making its debut in Brazil in 2015 and is allowing viewers at home to be a part of the action.

The 3-day festival will be broadcasted live on YouTube and Tomorrowland's website. The stream will begin each day at 6 p.m. EST and local time and rebroadcasted until the next day. The festival will take place from May 1-3. Watch the announcement video below.

Fans will be able to see some of the biggest DJs in the world perform in Itu, Brazil just outside of Sao Paolo. Some of the names include, Armin van Buuren, Sasha, Hardwell, Nicky Romero, Steve Angello, Jamie Jones, David Guetta, Solomun, Oliver Heldens, Afrojack and more.

The move to have a livestream is being followed by many other major festivals with the budget and production value around the world. Events like Ultra Music Festival, Lollapalooza, Coachella and Creamfields all host live streams. Tomorrowland Brasil follows in the footsteps of its parent event in Belgium, which has been broadcasting live online for several years.

Coachella recently saw the value of the live stream with its social sharing after tweets were down 83 percent the second weekend from the first. The first weekend was streamed live on YouTube, while the second was only seen on AXS TV, which is not available in many households. While there is more hype generally for the first weekend, the steep drop off can be attributed to the lack of a live stream, notably since most tweets come from individuals at home.
