The world's most renowned and prosperous foursome, The Beatles, will be the main focus of tribute album, Keep Calm and Salute the Beatles, featuring all acoustic covers spanning hits from the bands lengthy, yet remarkable discography.

Celebrated artists including deceased Cream bassist Jack Bruce, will implement a personal rendition of "Eleanor Rigby," his last recorded performance, while Heart's powerhouse Ann Wilson tackles a softer version of "Across the Universe." Judy Collins, Todd Rundgren and KC of KC and the Sunshine Band among a total of 16 artists, will incorporate their acoustic renditions of fan-favorite tunes to the compilation, notes Rolling Stone.

Former Yes guitarist and producer Billy Sherwood supervised and kept a watchful eye on Keep Calm and Salute the Beatles--he even recorded his own interpretation of "Something" for the tribute LP. Sherwood has previous experience being involved with acoustic tributes for Supertramp, the Doors and the Who, reports Ultimate Classic Rock.

Keep Calm and Salute the Beatles will see its release on April 28.
