Two of the biggest names in electronic music have released their sparkling new collaboration. Martin Garrix and his mentor Tiësto have unveiled their track "The Only Way Is Up" and its accompanying music video, which follows the pair on their travels around Miami this past March in the lead up to their set on the main stage at Ultra Music Festival.

The track continues the more melodic direction that Garrix has been moving in over the past few months with releases like "Don't Look Down" and "Forbidden Voices." The track is built around a pitched up vocal sample and matching synth melody layered underneath. The track is out now via Tiësto's Music Freedom Records. Watch the video below and head to Beatport to purchase it now.

"I'm a big fan of Martin's music and his skills as a DJ and producer. The creative process flowed naturally from the start and I'm very happy with how the song turned out. There's a reason why Martin is one of the hottest artists on the planet right now," Tiësto says in a statement.

Martin also shows love for the man who has been instrumental in his success.

"The opportunity for me to work with my hero Tiësto was such an incredible experience. We really got to combine both of our visions on this track and the result is simply amazing. Couldn't be more pleased with the end result," Martin Garrix says.

"The Only Way Is Up" was originally previewed as part of a new 7UP campaign featuring Garrix and Tiësto where the set up a massive rave in the middle of the Nevada desert equipped with sky high DJ platforms and a crowd that lit up a variety of different colors. Each DJ even got their own can of seven up with their faces plastered on them — probably pretty weird for Garrix at 18 years old.
