Forbes has unveiled its cash kings list for the richest men in hip-hop and the numbers continue to grow at a remarkable rate. Dr. Dre clocked in as the wealthiest man in the genre last year when word began to spread about the sale of Beats to Apple for a whopping $3.2 billion. That number was later revised down to $3 billion and he went on to declare he was hip-hop's first billionaire. However, with his 25% stake in the company and after taxes, he "only" accrued a $500 million windfall. That left the door open for a rise in revenue from 2014's second place artist, Diddy, who has risen to the number one spot in the 2015 hip-hop cash kings list. Jay Z, 50 Cent and Cash Money's Birdman round out the rest of the list.

Unlike Dre's wealth that comes from primarily one source, Diddy has diversified his assets into several different ventures. He is the brand ambassador with Diageo's Ciroc vodka, which earns him an eight-figure paycheck annually and a split of the earnings if the company was ever sold. He has also invested in water companies with Mark Wahlberg, Aquahydrate, a new tequila DeLeon and founded the media company Revolt. All of this adds up to a cool $730 million for Diddy.

Jay Z slots in just behind Diddy and Dre with a $550 million net worth due to his success with Roc Nation, brand deals and now the launch of TIDAL as a competitor in the streaming market.

50 Cent with $155 million is still benefiting from a $100 million windfall in the Vitamin Water sale, as well as new investments in headphones, vodka and underwear.

Birdman has remained one of hip-hop's moguls for some time now, but his recent battle with Lil Wayne and uncertainty surrounding Cash Money Records, dropped him slightly.

Below is the breakdown of how much each man is worth. Only time will tell who will be the first to a billion.

1. Diddy - $735 Million
2. Dr. Dre - $700 Million
3. Jay Z - $550 Million
4. 50 Cent - $155 Million
5. Birdman - $150 Million
