It's a good thing that The Browders are a family group; if they weren't, with their tour schedule, they might not ever see each other! The family patriarch, Tommy, leads the Southern Gospel singers with his sons David and Matthew. Matthew’s lovely wife Sonya is also a member as is her brother, Burt. Started by Tommy and his sons in the early 1990s, the family has toured together for nearly a quarter of a century. Sonya and Matthew actually met on the road when the group she was in shared the stage with The Browders. The two started talking in January, got engaged in February and were married in July of 2005. It was only natural for her to join her new family on the stage full-time. Her brother, Burt, completed the quintet when he moved down from their home in Maine to join the band in Virginia.
