Norwegian tropical DJ/producer sensation, Kygo, stopped by the BBC1 Live Lounge recently to perform a cover of Swedish rising star Tove Lo's breakout hit single, "Habits (Stay High)" with the help of Brooklyn-based vocalist, Parson James. The pair collaborated on Kygo's recent single, "Stole The Show," and premiered the music video during the YouTube Music Awards. This time they take a very different approach, covering a track outside of dance music, though Tove Lo's appeal to electronic music producers and fans has been pretty strong.

The cover shows the range of Parson James as he hits all of the notes from Lo's "Habits (Stay High)." Kygo sits in front of James at the Live Lounge piano fingering the notes in a simplistic acoustic rendition of the track, while also showing that he can do more than copy and paste pre-sets into a computer program. Watch the cover below.

It is fitting that Tove Lo gets covered as she was just in the BBC1 Live Lounge a few weeks ago to deliver a rousing rendition of Wiz Khalifa & Charlie Puth's international hit single, "See You Again."

2015 will be a big year for Kygo. The "Firestone" producer is gearing up to release his debut album some time this year on Sony International and Ultra Records. It was originally scheduled to drop before his performance at Coachella, but that festival has come and gone. He gave out a copy of his new collaboration with Dillon Francis "Coming Over" in the form of 20 USBs during his weekend one set at Coachella. Francis was muffed at the move to give away a track of his without first consulting with the American-born DJ, but the riff appears to have gone away.

See More kygo, Tove Lo
