Chicago Bulls fans were expecting a high-intensity, close game today when they went to the United Center to see their Bulls take on the Cleveland Cavaliers in the second round of the NBA playoffs. They got that and more with late action in the fourth quarter deciding the outcome of the game with Derek Rose tying it with .8 seconds left and then Lebron James winning it at the buzzer. What they weren't expecting was Kanye West to show up and perform his single, "All Day," during a TV timeout in the middle of the first quarter. So instead of some sponsored gimmick to keep fans engaged, Kanye stepped up to the plate for his hometown to try and inspire his squad and the crowd.

He was also there to handle pre-game introductions and pump the crowd up for the game.

This is not the first time in recent months Kanye showed up somewhere to perform an impromptu show. He was in Armenia with his in-laws when he decided to put on a concert at Swan Lake. It went on for close to an hour before he jumped into the lake, along with several hundred other fans, which forced police to shut down the concert.

He also made two surprise guest appearances during Coachella last month. He first performed a short medley of tracks during The Weeknd's set and then showed up to do his remix of "Alors On Danse" with Stromae.
