Though Kanye West was not on the bill at Coachella, he appears to have stole the show. The "Only One" rapper made a surprise appearance during The Weeknd's set on Saturday night to perform a medley of different songs, including "All Day," that span the Chicago rapper's career. On Sunday he showed up once again, but to perform alongside someone rather unexpected - Belgian electro-pop star Stromae. Kanye came out as the sun had set over Indio during the Frenchman's 7:55-8:45 set to perform his verse from the remix Stromae's hit single "Alors On Danse" that gave the worldwide hit even more legs. The second and often-forgotten rapper on the remix Gilbere Forte was not in attendance.

Check out some of the footage below via Complex, though it caught most attendees by such surprise that even the millennial generation didn't catch the full thing on camera.

Surprise West performances have been a theme for the rapper this year, who has been active musically in 2015, gearing up for the release of his seventh artist album So Help Me God. He recently played on Swan Lake in Armenia, while on a sightseeing trip there with his wife, Kim Kardashian and jumped into the lake. The show was shut down after he was mobbed by the crowd who followed him in.

The 2009 remix has fallen out of the public eye for the past years, but the Kanye effect will certainly remind them about this track.
