It's arguable that Kacey Musgraves is one of the rising queens of the country music world, with multiple Grammys under her belt and a slew of hit singles. But now, the "Biscuits" singer has baked up a follow-up to her critically acclaimed breakthrough album Same Trailer, Different Park. Today (May 12), Musgraves announced the album cover, release date and tracklist for Pageant Material.
In a post on her Twitter, Musgraves revealed that Pageant Material will arrive on June 23, just a little two years after Same Trailer, Different Park was released.
Musgraves unveiled some regal artwork to go along with her big album announcement. The album cover for Pageant Material features a stunning side portrait of the 26-year-old country star, with a crown on her head and a glittering red curtain backdrop behind her.

Talk about Pageant Material!
The new album is being led by the sassy single "Biscuits," which dropped in March. Other numbers on the 13-song tracklist include "Dime Store Cowgirl," "Somebody to Love," "Family is Family" and "High Time."

The album will be released on June 23 and is the immediate follow-up to Musgraves' major label debut album Same Trailer, Different Park, which won the Grammy awards for Best Country Album and Best Country Song ("Merry Go Round") in 2014.
