Lily Allen continues to prepare for her big old 2014 comeback. Fresh off of the last few months, which saw her release two new stellar singles, "Hard Out Here" and "Air Balloon," from her forthcoming third album and a top-selling charity cover of Keane's "Somewhere Only We Know," today (Jan. 31), Allen has released another new song.

This time, she premiered a cover of Tarka Cordell's "Shelter You" for a new charity album Tarka and Friends: Life.

Accompanied by an acoustic guitar and some light strings, Allen gives a heartbreaking turn on the small song, with light, highly emotive vocals and music that is perhaps a little too pretty for words. Allen covered "Shelter You" with the help of Louis Eliot, who perfectly compliments her soft voice.

The Tarka charity album will be released on Feb. 10. The record, which also features music from Alice Temple, Evan Dando and Ruby Friedman, is a tribute to singer/songwriter Tarka Cordell, who had a promising musical career before taking his own life in 2008.

Profits from the album will go toward charities CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably) and Jeevika Trust, which helps those struggling in India.
