Racist movie cliches that need to go away for good

Jennifer Lopez is about to head to Las Vegas in 2016 for her first ever residency at Planet Hollywood, but first she had to stop by to pimp her show on Ellen. Today (May 15), fresh off the season 14 finale of American Idol, JLo gave fans a little taste of what her big production may look like by performing a four-minute best-of medley on the talk show.

Lopez kicked off the performance appropriate flamenco dancers, decked all out in feathers. Herself, she was wearing a sexy suit and fedora, which she eventually tossed aside in favor of a red bodysuit and a pack of male dancers.

As far as the setlist, Lopez kicked off with "If You Had My Love" dressed in the suit. She soon turned the sass and sexy factor up by launching into "Love Don't Cost a Thing." She starred just as much as dancer as a singer, shaking her famous booty during "Love Don't Cost a Thing." The energy continued there, as JLo celebrated her much beloved hometown of New York City with "Jenny from the Block."

Lopez finished off her biggest hits medley with a sexy rendition of "Get Right" before turning the party up with "On the Floor" and asking those around her who's coming with her to Las Vegas.

Lopez appeared on the daytime talk show to promote her forthcoming Las Vegas residency, which is set to begin in January 2016. As of now, Lopez is set to run 20 shows at Planet Hollywood through May.
