Bombay Bicycle Club can easily say its 2014 is off to a great start. The four-piece UK indie rock outfit is now able to check one thing off its bucket list: a No. 1 album in their homeland.

According to Official Charts Company, Bombay Bicycle Club’s fourth studio album So Long, See You Tomorrow has debuted in the top spot on the UK charts. The chart-topping debut has been a longtime coming for the indie/world music blenders. According to Billboard, in the UK, Bombay Bicycle Club have slowly been gaining sales success and chart positions. The band’s debut album, 2009’s I Had The Blues But I Shook Them Loose peaked at No. 46 in Britain. The band’s second and third albums (Flaws, A Different Kind of Fix) debuted and peaked at Nos. 8 and 6, respectively.

Single “Luna,” an uplifting blend of pop, indie rock and tropical influences, led the album’s release.

Unlike the American charts, which have remained largely stagnant in recent weeks, the UK saw a huge shakeup on the album charts. There were three debuts in the top 10 this week, with Hydra’s Within Temptation clocking in at No. 6 and rockers Maximo Park’s Too Much Information at No. 7.

Other top 10 entries in this week’s UK album cycle include Avicii’s True, the relentless Ellie Goulding with Halcyon and Beyoncé’s self-titled album, all of which came in the top five spots.

Meanwhile, Clean Bandit’s “Rather Be” (feat. Jess Glynne) tops the UK Singles Chart.
