Last week, it was announced that Chris Brown and Kendrick Lamar would perform at the 2015 BET Awards and now word on the Web is that Nicki Minaj will also take the stage.

The network announced that Michael B. Jordan, who starred as Oscar Grant in Fruitvale Station, will host the awards show alongside singer-actress Zendaya.

The complete list of official presenters and performers will be released at a later date.

The Pinkprint rapper, who has won eight BET trophies, received six nominations this year including Best Female Hip-Hop Artist and Video of the Year.

In 2014, she took home five awards, including the aforementioned award for female MCs. She has taken the award home every year since 2010.

Azealia Banks, who is also nominated for Best Female Hip Hop Artist, made headlines when she took to Twitter to express her displeasure with the nomination, calling the award "a bit of a running joke."

Nicki Minaj is preparing for the North American leg of her Pinkprint tour. In March, she announced that she would hit the road with boyfriend Meek Mill, Dej Loaf, Tinashe and Rae Sremmurd.

The tour kicks off in Dallas on July 17 with stops in Miami, Brooklyn, Toronto, Atlanta and Denver. The Pinkprint tour will also make its way to Vancouver.

She also has a few international concert shows, including the forthcoming Summer Up Festival on July 3 in Finland.

The BET Awards are slated to air on June 28 at 8 p.m.
