Tugging at the heartstrings of viewers around the world, Robin Williams makes his final intense onscreen performance in Boulevard as the first official movie trailer makes its debut. Even 10 months after his tragic death in August, his acting legacy continues to impress audiences worldwide.

The late, yet still beloved actor portrays a 60-year-old lonely man caught in a monotonous life routine and a dissolving marriage. After an unplanned encounter with a young male hitchhiker, Williams' character begins to turn his life around and climb out of the desolate hole he dug himself. As Variety notes, his character is "in denial about his sexuality until he befriends a young gay street hustler," played by Roberto Aguire. "If life is moving in the wrong direction, there's always time to make a U-turn," a tag-line reads.

"This is one of the kindest characters Williams has ever played, which makes his self-imposed turmoil - the consequence of not wanting to hurt anyone, least of all his wife - all the more tragic," film critic Peter Debruge wrote in Variety upon the film's premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival.

"Tapping into that same loneliness felt in One Hour Photo and Good Will Hunting, the actor projects a regret so deep and identifiable, viewers should have no trouble connecting it to whatever is missing in their own lives - whether those regrets are romantic, sexual, professional or spiritual," he added.

The Dito Montiel-directed movie costars Breaking Bad's Bob Odenkirk and Kathy Baker alongside Williams in his performance concluding a lifetime of illustrious work. The iconic Mrs. Doubtfire actor is featured in another yet-to-be released film, Absolutely Anything, as a voice actor, reports Us Weekly.

Starz will reveal Boulevard on July 17.
