In a tremendous effort to raise money for MusiCorps, Roger Waters will be hosting this year's Music Heals benefit concert, assembling a lineup of his very own, in which he calls on the talents of Tom Morello, Billy Corgan and Sheryl Crow.

The annual, one-night-only concert will inhabit Washington D.C.'s DAR-Constitution Hall on Oct. 16 — tickets available on June 26 via Live Nation at 10 a.m., notes Rolling Stone.

The non-profit organization gives aide to wounded soldiers and their families while teaching the injured how to play instruments during their healing process. For a number of years, the former Pink Floyd bassist acted as a guru for musicians in the MusiCorps' Wounded Warrior Band. Waters previously took the stage with the veterans for a performance at Washington D.C's Walter Reed Hospital. "The work I have done over the last few years with these men and women has been some of the most rewarding work I have ever done," the 71-year-old musician said in a statement. During the Stand Up for Heroes benefit concert in December 2012, Waters and the veteran band performed an inspiring and emotional rendition of "Wide River to Cross" by Levon Helm. A year later, the group returned to cover "Hallelujah" by Leonard Cohen. Aside from his Music Heals performance, the musician was enlisted for his first appearance at the iconic Newport Folk Festival. Waters seems to have a few ideas in store as he assured fans he'll craft a "very special" set list for his July 24 gig at the festival.
