When Apple's new streaming platform Apple Music goes live on July 1, it will have one big grab to entice new listeners: an exclusive interview between Eminem and Zane Lowe. As the former BBC Radio 1 host starts his new show on the platform's radio station Beats 1, he will do so with a big interview with the "Phenomenal" rapper.

According to a new report from Billboard, Apple Music's Beats 1 will be the centerpiece of the new streaming platform. The station, which will run for 24 hours a day, is teased as required listening from Apple, and what makes for more required listening than a big name like Shady himself?

Lowe confirmed that Eminem will be his first interview for Beats 1 when it launches on Tuesday, posting a shot from his interview with the legendary rapper on his Instagram.

Lowe, a longtime popular radio host on BBC Radio 1, left the company after 13 years in February to act as the centerpiece of Apple's new streaming radio service. Known for his extended, in-depth interviews, Lowe made headlines by talking to the likes of Kanye West, Jay Z, Rick Rubin and everyone in between. He has since moved from England to California and was replaced on BBC Radio 1 by Annie Mac.

As for Eminem, the rapper has largely been lying low in 2015 after dropping the critically acclaimed record The Marshall Mathers LP 2 in November 2013. Earlier this year, he dropped the epic new single "Phenomenal" from the upcoming Jake Gyllenhaal boxing movie Southpaw.
