On Friday night (June 29), Rapper DMX was arrested in New York City outside Radio City Music Hall right before he was scheduled to perform at the 'Masters of Ceremony' concert. The concert line-up featured some of hip-hop's best, including Rakim, Mase, Shabba Ranks, The Lox and more. But DMX fans were super disappointed when it was announced that the Ruff Ryder wasn't going to hit the stage.

A spokesperson for the New York County Sheriff's Office confirmed that the rapper was taken into custody for "several issues outstanding," including failure to pay his child support. An arrest warrant was issued by the Erie County Family Court for $400,000 worth of back child support. He also had a couple other pending warrants for bail jumping and operating a motor vehicle without a license.

The rapper seems to be getting himself into a lot of legal drama this year. In April, Newark detectives launched an investigation after a man claimed he was robbed at gunpoint by DMX at a gas station in Newark, NJ.  Luckily for DMX, he no longer has to worry about those allegations. New Jersey authorities recently dropped those charges after the victim could not successfully identify the "Party Up" rapper on a surveillance video and no criminal charges were filed.

DMX already has a lengthy criminal record with arrests including charges of drug possession, criminal possession of a weapon, cocaine possession, animal cruelty, and reckless driving to name a few. So this is definitely nothing new to him.

DMX was set to perform at 8 p.m. at the 'Masters of Ceremony' concert but police waited outside the concert venue for him and arrested him as soon as he got out of his vehicle. What do you think about the situation? Would you be mad if you were one of the fans waiting on DMX to perform?
