Slipknot will once again bring a host of heavy metal and hip-hop headliners to San Bernardino, CA for the annual Knotfest. This year's event will feature big names such as Judas Priest, Korn and Ghostface Killah on October 24 and 25.

This marks the third rendition of Knotfest, and the second to be hosted at the San Manuel Amphitheater & Festival Grounds. Promotions for the festival promise the usual selection of carnival rides, food trucks and a Slipknot museum. It might seem like a stretch to have all this rotating around one metal band, but last year's event drew more than 50,000 fans (making it significantly more successful, at least financially, than Metallica's Orion Fest).

One thing that's definitely improved from 2014 to 2015: The lineup. Although Knotfest attracted a significant collection of groups for last year's event, this year's gathering is truly impressive. Although Slipknot was certainly in its right to headline both nights last year (it is their event, after all), bringing in a second headliner (Judas Priest) will ultimately make for a better show.

"Knotfest returns to Southern California for round two and with legends like Judas Priest headlining night one and a lineup of some of the greatest acts in metal and heavy music, we couldn't be more excited," said Slipknot's Shawn "Clown" Crahan.

One thing that thankfully hasn't been mentioned for this year's event: last year's notorious attempt to feature a burning pile of camel waste as an "attraction." You can check out the full lineup below.
