Steven Tyler may have surprised fans of Aerosmith when he announced that he would be joining the world of country music with a new album and his debut genre single "Love Is Your Name." But, the legendary rock frontman seems dedicated to the cause and has now released the new music video for his Big Machine Records debut.

Though the video begins with an image familiar to Tyler, Aerosmith and his fans: a lone mic stand with his signature scarves flowing down, the visuals soon take on a downhome, country-friendly theme. The scarves turn into hair adornments from a beautiful, blonde haired woman on the prairie. Tyler is there, too, singing along to his new single while standing on the porch of a small wooden shack.

The scarves tumble from the beauty's hair into her hand, and she begins to turn the accessories into a trail which Tyler could seemingly follow back to his other, rightful home on stage. As she makes her way through various scenes, a light wind blowing all the while, Tyler jams in the field with a variety of hippies, who are hanging out by trucks, campfires and fields of dirt and tall grass.

The video is filled with country tropes and stereotypes, but shot through the gaze of Tyler, there seems to be an appreciation for the world there. Mixed with the song's soaring banjos and hopeful vocals, there's a sense of wonderment in "Love Is Your Name." Like the song itself, maybe this shouldn't work but Tyler pulls off a sense of authenticity.

"Love Is Your Name" is the first single from Tyler's forthcoming solo country album, which is due to be released via Big Machine Records. Tyler first announced his foray into country music earlier this year and debuted "Love Is Your Name" alongside finalist Jax at the season 14 finale of American Idol. Further details about Tyler's debut country album remain scarce.
