Meghan Trainor's summer tour is continuing to be derailed by her vocal cord issues. After postponing and cancelling a string of concerts in Atlantic City and Connecticut earlier this week, today (July 7), the "Dear Future Husband" singer announced that she's been forced to duck out of two more shows.
In a statement on her Instagram, Trainor revealed that she will have to postpone MTrain Tour stops in Detroit and Chicago. Though those concerts have already been rerouted for September, Trainor has had to cancel her performance at this weekend's Common Ground Music Festival in Lansing, Michigan, where she was set to perform alongside the diverse lineup that features everyone from Jane's Addiction to The Band Perry.
Trainor's video announcement features her doctor telling her to "cancel everything." Though she only cancelled the first five dates of her planned summer trek. She's next planned to perform on July 14 in St. Louis.

Trainor's cancelled and postponed tour dates are due to a hemorrhaged vocal cord, as the singer announced late last week. Trainor is just the latest pop superstar to face vocal cord issues. Sam Smith had a similar problem earlier this year, forcing him to scrap an extensive list of shows.
Trainor's original starting four dates will now take place at the end of her tour, from Sept. 7 to 13. Check out her full planned schedule below:
