Dan Snaith, better known as Caribou, has unleashed his Daphni side project for a brand new free download titled "Vikram." The new tune fits with the spacey and more psychedelic side of Snaith's production with long and subtle builds that don't necessarily give a dramatic payoff, but rather leads the listener on a journey of different eclectic sounds.

The moniker has been dormant for the past few years, but just under a month ago, Snaith revived the project with an edit of Usha Uthup's "Main Gul Badan" and Alex Israel's "Culogo" titled "Israel."

Caribou, not Daphni, is in the midst of a busy summer schedule and is touring around the world in cities like Dublin, Dortmund, Montreal, New York and Oslo. He is primarily playing festivals like Osheaga, Hard Summer and Way Out West, but will also be performing a free concert as part of the Summerstage event series in New York City. This tune could be mixed in as a set closer.  See the full list of dates below.
