The 2015 Global Citizen Festival in Central Park has announced its headliners for this Fall, as Beyoncé, Coldplay, Ed Sheeran and Pearl Jam will take the stage for one of the year's most celebrated charity concerts. There's no official word on which act will be the main headliner at the end of the night, but Chris Martinwho signed on as creative director for the concert earlier this year—has hinted that Bey will be the big attraction.

"We love the Global Citizen movement and we love opening for Beyoncé so this ticks both boxes," he said, speaking for his band Coldplay.

This year's event marks a return for the pop star, who made a surprise guest appearance during husband Jay Z's headlining set last year.

Additional additions for the 2015 event include director Richard Curtis, best known for his work on the Bridget Jones' DIary films, and Grammys producer Ken Ehrlich, who will collaborate on a one-hour television special to be aired in the U.S. and UK.

The Global Citizen Festival is different from the average music gathering in that it doesn't sell tickets, but rather requires fans to earn them. Pairs of passes are raffled off...fans earn points by watching videos, making phone calls, volunteering and doing other activities tied to the Global Citizens foundation's goal of ending extreme poverty...those who earn the most points obviously have the greatest chance of earning tickets.

Global Citizen's ultimate goal is to convince the U.S. Government to donate 50 percent of its foreign aid budget to the world's poorest countries, but it also lends support for a variety of causes, such as improving education and gender equality abroad.

You can get started toward earning tickets at globalcitizenfestival.com. The concert will be held on September 27 this year.
