After days of hinting and teasing, Billboard finally announced the full lineup for the first ever Billboard Hot 100 Music Festival. Over 40 artists are expected to play at the inaugural Hot 100 Fest, and Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj and The Weeknd are among those headlining the big two-day festival.

Billboard revealed that Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, The Weeknd and Skrillex will be the festival's headliners and Justin Bieber will also be hitting the stage for a very special performance. The festival will also feature performances by Jason Derulo, ILoveMakonnen, Kygo, Santigold, Fetty Wap, The Chainsmokers and many more top acts.

This is the first ever Billboard music festival so there is a lot of hype surrounding this big event. The festival is being produced in partnership by Live Nation and the CEO, Michael Rapino, stated, "The Hot 100 Music Festival will be one of those truly memorable summer concert events. We are very excited to bring fans some of summer 2015's chart toppers in a venue that will showcase the best these artists have to offer."

Billboard definitely picked the most buzzworthy artists to headline the show. Lil Wayne just released his album, Free Weezy Album, and announced his upcoming Hot Boys Reunion. Nicki Minaj is soon to be embarking on the U.S. leg of her tour for The Pinkprint. And earlier this year The Weeknd earned his first No. 1 hit with his 50 Shades of Grey soundtrack song, "Earned It," and he recently announced his upcoming album, Beauty Behind the Madness. If anyone can rock a festival stage, it's these artists.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on July 16. The main festival will be at Nikon at Jones Beach Theatre in New York on August 22–23. There will also be two other stages for performers, one of which is right on the beach. Perfect summertime festivities!
