Outkast has confirmed there will be no new music in 2014. First, the mega-famous "Hey Ya" duo announced a reunion with 40 festival shows this year, then its former manager Queen Latifah said there would be a new album and then, uh, no there wouldn't. But today (Feb. 20), the word has come straight from Big Boi himself: Outkast will not be releasing a new record.

At a Game Of Thrones event, Revolt TV caught up with Big Boi who expressed excitement about his reunion with Andre 3000 but said the group's tour is just that, an anniversary tour. "No, no, no. We're just doing a tour for the fans. That's all it is: a tour. I got a solo record I'm working on, but the Outkast 20 year anniversary is just a way to celebrate with our fans, but there's no album in the works," he said.

For those who may be disappointed by the Outkast news, there's still new music from Big Boi and Andre 3000 on its way. Not only did Big Boi promise to have a record out by the end of the year, but hit Outkast partner also reportedly has an LP in the works.

And if "2014" is too long to wait for new hip-hop, Big Boi announced he's releasing a Game Of Thrones inspired mixtape in the coming weeks, featuring Wale, Common and a couple "surprise" guests.
