Timbaland's protégé Tink is having a breakout year after landing a spot on XXL's coveted 2015 Freshmen Class list.The "Million" rapper is currently readying her third installment for the mixtape series which put her singing and rapping abilities on the map, Winter's 3 Diary, which is due out at the end of July.

The Chicago native took to Twitter over the weekend (July 18) to make the announcement of the upcoming project, revealing that it will be out sometime before the end of the month.

In the meantime, Tink is working on her Timbaland-assisted debut album, Think Tink, which is due out by the end of the year. No exact release dates have been given for either Think Tink or Winter's Diary 3, keeping fans on their toes waiting for the new music from Tink.

Since her arrival, Tink has drawn comparisons to the likes of Lauryn Hill and has dropped projects such as Winter's Diary mixtape, Alter Ego and Blunts, Boss Up and Winter's Diary 2: Forever.

According to XXL, her mentor Timbaland couldn't help singing the praises of the 20-year-old singer/rapper saying, "She got it. Like you can't believe somebody 19 got it. You know what I'm saying? We don't see that no more. The last person we saw was like Drake. He's like the real deal."
