Media personality DJ Vlad said Saturday he has verified an alleged sex tape featuring Sean "Diddy" Combs, adult performer Sly Diggler and model Daphne Joy, adding a new chapter to ongoing scrutiny of the music executive.

According to HotNewHipHop, Vlad, host of VladTV, said in a video posted to his YouTube channel that he previously interviewed Diggler and had seen a censored screenshot from the recording. He said the clip circulating online matches the image he received and that he viewed several minutes of footage at an earlier date.

"I was not prepared for what I saw in that video," Vlad said during the older interview. In his recent video he said, "That video is 100% real," and added that he did not possess the full file and did not know where the public copy originated, as reported by Hindustan Times.

Diggler has told Vlad and others that Combs took his phone and recorded the encounter, Vlad said. He suggested the leak could have resulted from a phone hack but offered no firm conclusion about how the video became public.

Combs, who is serving a federal sentence related to convictions earlier this year, has not publicly commented on the alleged tape. Representatives for Combs and for Daphne Joy did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

The alleged recording has renewed attention to longstanding allegations of sexual misconduct against the music executive, and the matter is intertwined with ongoing civil litigation and criminal cases. Last month, a friend of singer Cassie Ventura accused Combs of physically assaultive behavior, alleging he dangled the friend from a balcony; that accusation is among several cited in filings and media reports.

Legal experts say unauthorized distribution of explicit recordings can expose parties to civil claims, and federal authorities sometimes investigate digital breaches when hacks are alleged. It was not clear whether law enforcement had opened an inquiry into the specific leak.

Social media users and several public figures have reacted sharply to the clip's circulation, raising questions about privacy, consent and the role of online platforms in distributing intimate material.

The authenticity of the widely shared video and its chain of custody remain under dispute, with Vlad asserting its veracity while acknowledging he does not know how it entered the public domain.

Civil attorneys and privacy advocates say victims of nonconsensual leaks may pursue damages and seek removal orders from platforms to limit distribution rapidly. Investigations may continue over time.
