Time to whip out those crazy outfits and make a new batch of slime, the 2014 Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards are on the horizon. Today (Feb. 24), the children's network announced the nominees for its 27th annual award show, and some of music's biggest stars are in the running. Katy Perry, One Direction and even Macklemore & Ryan Lewis are up for those much-coveted orange blimps.

Last year's winners One Direction lead the nominees for Favorite Music Group, making them a sure favorite over Maroon 5, OneRepublic and the oddly nominated Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The Kids' Choice Awards are big on repeat nominees. 2013 and 2012 winner for Favorite Female Singer Katy Perry returns as a nominee for this year's ceremony, alongside Lady Gaga, Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift. On the boys' side, this is the first time since 2010 when Justin Bieber hasn't been nominated for Favorite Male Singer. He's on the way out as Bruno Mars, Pharrell, Justin Timberlake and Pitbull all get nominated.

And Favorite Song? Those go to kids-friendly(ish) tracks "I Knew You Were Trouble" (Taylor Swift), "Roar" (Katy Perry), "Story of My Life" (One Direction) and "Wrecking Ball" (Miley Cyrus).

Other music-related nominations went to singer/actress Ariana Grande for Favorite TV Actress (Sam & Cat) and American Idol and The Voice for Favorite Reality Show.

Transformers 4 star Mark Wahlberg will host the ceremony. The Kids' Choice Awards will take place on Saturday, March 29 and air on Nickelodeon.
