Avid listeners of NYC radio know the longstanding beef between Power 105.1 radio personality Charlemagne Tha God and "Back to Back" rapper Drake. For years the two have been archnemeses, holding a longstanding grudge against one another after Charlamagne made disparaging remarks against the "6 god" rapper on air. However, after Charlamagne weighed in on the Drake versus Meek Mill drama opting to give Hot 97's DJ Funkmaster Flex the "Donkey of the day" title yesterday(July 28th) for his role in instigating the beef, Charlamagne and Drake have apparently buried that hatchet.

In Drake's second lyrical assault taking aim at Mill, he raps "You gon' make me step out of my f**kin' frame / You gon' make me buy bottles for Charlamagne / You gon' make me go out of my f**kin' way".

True to his rap, the Toronto rapper sent over six bottles of his finest bottles of Dom Perignon Champagne to thank the radio jock for his support, with a hand written message attached saying, "Let's be friends," signed "Aubrey Graham."

This is a huge blow to the "All Eyes on You" rapper who has yet to respond to Drake's initial diss track, which he cited as being "baby lotion soft".

Either way, this saga may not end well for Mill or Flex, who fanned the flames of the fire by dropping the "10 Bands" reference track in attempt to discredit Drake.

In addition to making false promises to listeners of more reference tracks to come, after Mill was a no call no show on Flex's show Monday night over 6,000 listeners signed a petition to have Flex removed from his post on Hot 97.

Now that Charlamagne and Drake have made amends, do you think this is the start of a beautiful friendship?
