Chief Keef's Bang 3 is now available online to stream in full ahead of its original August 18 release date. The album has been in the works for the better part of three years and after many twists, turns and delays in the Bang 3 storyline, it is here at last. The 14-track album eschews the trend in hip-hop recently, going light on features and only choosing three that will have the most impact, which leaves the floor open for the maximum amount of Sosa. The artists featured are A$AP Rocky, Mac Miller and Jenn Em, who sings the hook on the single "Ain't Missing You."
The lack of features works because this is clearly a step up from Sosa. He brings a level of quality that has not been there on a lot of the loose singles that have been floated out there to the fans over the past several years.
He also is not an artist who has a lot of other rappers come on his tracks, as seen by prior mixtapes like Sorry For The Weight.
The album is as heavy and trapped out as one might expect from Sosa, but the production is a more varied than a lot of his prior works. The street is about to get set on fire with this and Migos.
Bang 3 is the follow up to his 2011 and 2013 mixtapes Bang and Bang 2.
