After a slight delay, Chief Keef has released his Sorry for the Weight mixtape ahead of Bang 3. The 18-track mixtape is largely a Sosa showcase with only two features from Andy Milonakis and a member of his GLO gang, BenjiGlo.
The tape gets production from GGP, DPGGP, Chopsquaddj and Chief Keef himself.
Sosa previewed the project with the surprise collaboration alongside comedian, actor and occasional rapper Andy Milonakis, who is featured on track No. 5 "Hot S**t." They did another song "No Hook Gang," which saw Sosa and Milonakis trade verses over a Keef-produced beat with, as you might expect, no verses to gel the track together.
Valentine's Day came and went without his mixtape Thot Breaker, which had been originally announced with the single by the same name alongside Tyga and the hashtag #thotbreakervalentine. It makes sense since he has this mixtape coming out today and Drake won Valentine's Day weekend, though there have been rumblings of the two working together.
A joint album with his cousin Fredo Santana titled Blood Thicker Than Water is also set to drop at some point during the year.
These 18 tracks of almost entirely Sosa should hold over fans until the release of Bang 3, which may arrive in 2015, but you never know with this project, as noted by The Source.
