5 Seconds of Summer have a b*tchy girlfriend, parents who don't believe in them and a psychiatrist who over-medicate them, but at least "She's Kinda Hot." Just weeks after dropping the lead single from its upcoming sophomore effort, today (Aug. 3), 5SOS unveiled the music video for "She's Kinda Hot," complete with cartoonish effects and everyone's favorite pop-punk quartet.

"She's Kinda Hot" takes on the laidback vibes heard in the song's opening verse for its music videos. Opening up with Calum Hood, Luke Hemmings, Ashton Irwin and Michael Clifford hanging out at a typical bachelor pad house. As they strum acoustic guitars and play around with a drum machine, 5SOS sings along to its latest punchy hit while cartoon effects float around them.

Those word balloons and bright colors carry throughout the entire music video, as scenarios that are heard in the song play out in the video. We get the b*tching girlfriend, the parents who think their college dropout son is a slob and a neighbor who thinks 5SOS are full of dirty brains.

But, as they claim the throne as the king of a broken scene, 5 Seconds of Summer jam out while playing "She's Kinda Hot" all plugged in.

"She's Kinda Hot" is the latest song from 5 Seconds of Summer, and it's reported to act as the lead single for the band's new album, due out by the end of the year. "She's Kinda Hot" is the first release since 5SOS' self-titled debut album, which dropped last summer and spawned singles such as "She Looks So Perfect" and "Amnesia."
