Boosie Badazz drops off "Letter to Pac," a tribute song to his favorite rapper, the late, great Tupac Shakur. The song comes just over two months after Boosie's Touch Down 2 Cause Hell, his first album since being released from prison in March 2014.

The Baton Rouge veteran begins the track addressing the ghost of 2Pac, thanking him for all the inspiration. Boosie acknowledges comparisons with the great "Dear Mama" rapper but is happy to kneel before the G.O.A.T. He also updates Pac on the current state of affairs and how the game has changed.

"People don't even buy CDs no more Pac / Teenagers ain't even fighting, man, they squeezin' it now"

Jay Z, who 'Pac used to beef with, has become a business mogul. Former Death Row head-honcho Suge Knight, is on trial for murder and now claims he's going blind. "I hope he beat them b*tches," raps Boosie. The country now has a black president -- "but we ain't got more."

Boosie himself was literally on death row just over a year ago, a struggle he recounts to his fallen idol, "Pac, they charged me with murders and maced me in my cell / Still I got high in that b*tch every day, Pac, L-O-L"

Boosie has called his four-year prison stint "a minor setback for a major comeback." He released a documentary in coordination with Touchdown 2 Cause Hell that documents his release from prison and ensuing comeback.
