Over the weekend, Kaskade announced that his upcoming new album would be titled Automatic. To celebrate he released a free download of a track which was recorded during LP studio sessions but did not make the final cut titled "Call My Name." Now the "Disarm You" DJ has unveiled the concrete release date for Automatic in addition to a North American tour that will take him to venues all across the United States and Canada.
The tour will take all of October, starting in Denver on Oct. 1 and then ending in Las Vegas at his residency at XS Nightclub on Halloween, Oct. 31. He will snake across the country, playing a wide variety of different venues from arenas and large piers to smaller clubs. The move to smaller venues is reminiscent of his Redux tour but it feels like the spaces could be larger cap comparable to the arenas he did after Atmosphere's release in 2012. Then again, he wants his fans to dance and these are danceable venues. L.A. is conspicuously missing however, could it be on Oct. 2?
Kaskade's new album Automatic will be released on Sept. 25. Anyone who purchases a ticket for the tour will receive a free digital download of the LP when it is released. Pre-sale for the album begins on Aug. 21 and tickets for the tour go on sale on Aug. 21. You can sign up for pre-sale of the tour on his website here. The tour will be supported by CID, Louis The Child and Galantis at select dates.
