Disclosure "Willing & Able" Review: New 'Caracal' Single Slows Tempo
Disclosure has unveiled the latest single "Willing & Able," featuring British singer Kwabs, from the duo's sophomore album Caracal. The single is slower then what we have heard from the duo thus far on the singles from the album. Guy and Howard Lawrence craft slow, jogging, garage bass lines with shimmering synths and deep bass stabs that sit gently under the soulful vocals of Kwabs, who croons to some unknown lover "If we're falling in love, we're falling love / There'll be nothing above / And I won't give you up, no I won't give you up."
"Willing & Able" is the latest single to appear on Disclosure's upcoming album Caracal, which includes features from the likes of Lorde, Miguel, Sam Smith, The Weeknd, Gregory Porter and more.
"Willing & Able" is the fourth single to be officially unveiled, following "Omen" with Sam Smith, the strong instrumental "Bang That" and "Holding On" with Gregory Porter. "Moving Mountains," featuring Brendan Reilly, was premiered on BBC Radio One with Annie Mac, but has not seen its official release.
To celebrate Caracal's release on Sept. 25, Disclosure is going on tour this fall across North America, which includes stops in major markets like Nashville, New York City, Los Angeles, Washington D.C, Toronto and more. See the full list of tour dates below.
