At the end of June, Insomniac Events announced it was expanding its Electric Daisy Carnival brand to South America for its first festival in Brazil. Now the Los Angeles-based festival promoter has unveiled the complete lineup for EDC Brasil 2015, headlined by the liked of Martin Garrix, Above & Beyond, Tiësto, Arty, R3hab, Krewella, The Magician and many more.
There is a nice balance of different sub-genres represented at EDC with dubstep, house, techno and trance all getting a chance at the Autodromo de Interlagos in Sao Paolo. The likes of Art Department, Gorgon City (Live), Klingande, Jonas Rathsman and Route 94 will keep a steady groove throughout the weekend, while Crizzly, Adventure Club, Excision, Kill The Noise and Sigma will bring a heavy dose of bass.
Super producer KSHMR, who has worked with the likes of Beyoncé, Selena Gomez, Tiësto, Dillon Francis and Far East Movement, used to perform when he was part of The Cataracs, but has not stepped out of the studio under the moniker KSHMR. He will make his live debut at the Fonda Theater next month under the current moniker and with this booking at EDC it would beckon in a new era of being a DJ, as well as, a producer.
In addition to the international DJs who will fly in to Brazil for the festival, there will be plenty of local talent on the bill as well such as Felguk, Tropkillaz, Renato Ratier and Marcelo CIC.
EDC Brasil will occur on Dec. 4-5 in Sao Paolo at the Autodromo de Interlagos. Tickets are available now through the festival's website.
