After AC/DC played a headlining set at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in April, classic rock fans patiently waited for the band to take their Rock or Bust World Tour into the states. After three months filling European stadiums, the Australian rock legends are ready to kick off the North American leg of the run. The North American portion of the tour includes 13 dates that will kick off August 22 at Gillette Stadium in Massachusetts, and will wrap up on September 28 at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, with secondary ticket prices only rising.

The band's run through the U.S. and Canada will be the first time the group has performed stateside since April of 2010. Their prior tour, the Black Ice World Tour, consisted of 168 shows that ran over two years and produced more than $441 million in total. It was successfully the fourth highest-grossing tour of all-time, an impressive milestone for a band who has toured for 40 years.

Primary tickets to see AC/DC are currently available through Ticketmaster, although availability is decreasing as many of the dates grow closer. As fewer tickets become available, fans will have the option to purchase secondary tickets directly through the Ticketmaster's Ticket Exchange option, a way to safely re-sell and purchase verified tickets. The re-sell option also provides the convenience of utilizing the seating chart map to identify the best seats available for purchase.

Across the secondary market, AC/DC tickets are currently clocking in with an average of $271, with many dates presenting exceptionally competitive prices. The band's scheduled performance at Wrigley Field in Chicago on September 15 has the highest secondary ticket average across their entire tour. A ticket for that show is averaging at $422 with a get-in price of $173. On the other side of the spectrum, the band's cheapest date is their September 8 show at Ford Field in Detroit, where the average ticket price is $175 with a get-in price of $66.

When AC/DC headlined Coachella in April, the average secondary ticket price for the three-day festival was $910, according to TiqIQ, and there's no doubt the band contributed to the massive demand.
