It's been a long journey for JoJo, but the singer's long-awaited return to music has finally been released. After teasing the release of a "tringle" last week, today (Aug. 20) the latest round of music from the "Leave (Get Out)" singer has finally arrived.

Surprising her fans, JoJo released her new round of singles "Say Love," "Save My Soul" and "When Love Hurts" one day before its original Aug. 21 release date.

The three new songs are clearly a departure from JoJo's teen pop star days of the early 2000s. Her voice is far more powerful, the production more fulfilling and the messages are far more personal and poignant.

The "tringle" (three new songs released at once) kicks off with the boastful track "Say Love," which features JoJo asking her man to say "love" and not just "me too" when they great and depart. The song is filled with massive production and swelling vocals from the 24-year-old singer, who injects more emotion in to this song than anything fans have heard from her.

The powerful momentum is carried through to "Save My Soul." Though inherently a piano ballad, the song is slightly softer but not much less massive, especially as the track builds into a pounding chorus.

The final part of the tringle is "When Love Hurts." Moving away from the larger than life powers of the first two songs, this track is clearly the most club-friendly. Featuring a tribal beat and plenty of pats on the high hats, this is the closest offering that JoJo has to a traditional 2015 pop jam, and while it's the least stunning of the three, it's purpose is clear: to make you dance.
