Grunge legends Nirvana's demo tape for "E-coli" is now available online. Posted anonymously on Reddit, the demo is thought to be a recording from 1993 or 1994. One of the many previously unavailable demos to surface online recently, "E-coli" follows the leak of Fecal Matter's (Kurt Cobain's pre-Nirvana ensemble) thirteen-track demo titled Illiteracy Will Prevail which appeared online only a few weeks ago.

Undoubtedly a godsend for many fans, the recently resurfaced nine-minute demo is offers listeners a rare yet audibly visceral snapshot of the quintessential '90s outfit in their prime. While the source of the recent abundance of previously unreleased demos has yet to be determined, the latest leaks, along with the critically acclaimed documentary Montage of Heck, have simultaneously rekindled the already cult-like appeal of Nirvana and its lead singer.

In addition to leaks and celluloid renderings of Nirvana's history, fans can also look forward to a solo album by Cobain this fall. Set to release November 6th through Universal Music, the album with showcase tracks plucked from the soundtrack of Montage of Heck along with home recordings. Despite having already been given a release date, the album has yet to be given a name. Currently untitled, the anticipated release has been described by director Brett Morgen as "thrash to ragtime and everything in between," according to NME.

The first documentary to be filmed in collaboration with Cobain's family, Montage of Heck reportedly stirred up an array of emotions for the front man's former wife, Courtney Love of Hole. "What on earth were you thinking," Love asked her late husband via an Instagram post of Cobain, herself, and her then infant daughter Frances Bean, who along with her mother worked as one of the many producers of the recently released documentary.

Even after over two decades after his passing, the singer-songwriter's influence as an icon and as an individual persists. From fans to family alike, it is clear that he contiues to be admired, loved, and missed.
